What is a digital subscription? What do I get when I subscribe?

No, there are some locations on the site that are not counted. The Home Page, Visit Mankato, obituaries, classifieds, weddings, engagements and anniversaries, Roll Call and Greater Mankato Events Calendar, all have unfettered access.
How are digital subscriptions billed? We accept major credit cards. Subscriptions are billed every four weeks. Your subscription will be renewed automatically, and you will be charged in advance of each billing cycle unless you cancel.
Why wouldn’t I just go to another local news website to get my news?

I have a subscription to The Free Press but not for all 7 days. Do I still receive the home delivery discount for a digital subscription?
Yes, you do. All home delivery subscribers qualify for the discount.
I am a home delivery customer, but I suspend my subscription when I go south for the winter. Do I still qualify for the home delivery discount on my digital subscription?

Can everyone in my household use the same account?
Yes, you can use the same account for all your family members.
Will you or your vendor provide an invoice for us to pay? Do you accept checks? Do you take PayPal?
No, all payments are via credit card.
Does my digital subscription provide access to the e-Edition of The Free Press?
The subscription package does NOT include access to the e-Edition. You can subscribe separately with print subscriber discounted rates here http://mankatofreepress.mn.newsmemory.com/.
What about viewing mankatofreepress.com articles on my mobile phone? Do I need a digital subscription for that?
Not at this time, although in the future, it will count toward the number of articles you can view.
What is the cancellation and refund policy on digital subscriptions?
You may cancel your digital subscription at any time. When you cancel, your account will not be charged the following billing cycle. Each billing cycle is 30 days, starting with the day of purchase. Unlimited access to mankatofreepress.com will continue for the remainder of the current 30-day period. Afterward, you will still be able to view 10 articles a month, just like any other visitor.
