son of the late Arthur H. and Charlotte A. Lindsay. A 1950 graduate of Mankato High School, a 1954 graduate of Mankato State College and a 1959 graduate of Vanderbilt University Divinity School, M. Div., he is a retired United Methodist minister in Hendersonville, Tenn.
