Art Exhibits Nov. 1-7

Arts Center of St. Peter --  Lake Superior images by nature photographer Craig Blacklock through Nov. 25 at 315 S. Minnesota Ave., St. Peter. Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Blue Earth County Historical Society’s  Heritage Center --  Works by American Indian artists on display through December at 415 Cherry St., Mankato. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Blue Earth County Library, Mankato -- U.S.-Dakota War of 1862 display this month at 100 E. Main St. Exhibit may be viewed during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Brown County Historical Society Museum -- U.S. Army-Dakota War of 1862 display at 2 N. Broadway, New Ulm. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Carnegie Art Center -- Works by Michael Cimino and Joseph Herke through Nov. 17. Reception for “Fragments” 7-9 p.m. Friday at 120 S. Broad St. Hours: 1-7 p.m. Thursday, 1- 4 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Centennial Student Union Gallery -- Works by Ben Gardner through Nov. 14 on lower level of Minnesota State University student union. Hours: 6:30 a.m. to midnight weekdays, 6:30 a.m. to midnight weekdays .

Conkling Gallery -- Art student juried show through Nov. 5 at 139 Nelson Hall on MSU campus. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.

Emy Frentz Arts Guild Gallery -- Works by resident artists this month at 523 S. Second St., Mankato. Reception 5-8 p.m. today. Hours: Noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Hillstrom Museum of Art, St. Peter -- Highlights from the Swedish National collections through Dec. 2 in the lower level of C. Charles Jackson Campus Center at Gustavus Adolphus College. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1- 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Hosanna Lutheran Church Gallery -- Works by Jeremy Burger, Jenn Philips, Karen Peters, Peggy Draheim and Richard Melarvie through Dec. 13 at 105 Hosanna Ave., Manka

The 410 Project -- Annual Halloween show through Nov. 4 at 523 S. Front St. Entries may be dropped off 2-8 p.m. today. Reception 7-9 p.m. Saturday. Hours: 2-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

Ylvisaker Fine Arts Center -- Works by graduates of Savannah College of Art and Design Andrew Judkins and Tim Wirth this month at 700 Luther Drive, Bethany Lutheran College. Lecture/reception 7 p.m. today. Gallery hours are 1-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 1-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Waseca Art Center -- Works from WAC’s permanent collection at 410 State Street North. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
