Art Exhibits Aug. 30-Sept, 5

Arts Center of St. Peter -- Paintings by Kevin Bierbaum in the Moline Gallery and “Mi Casa” exhibit of children’s work in the lower level gallery through Sept. 9  at 315 S. Minnesota Ave., St. Peter. Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Blue Earth County Historical Society’s Heritage Center --  Exhibit of Liz Madsen’s monoprints and historical Free Press front pages through September at 415 Cherry St., Mankato. Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, and Thursday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Blue Earth County Library, Mankato -- Daughters of American Revolution exhibit in the wall cases and Boy Scouts of America featured in floor displays throughout September at 100 E. Main St. Exhibit may be viewed during library hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Wednesday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Brown County Historical Society Museum -- U.S. Army-Dakota War display at 2 N. Broadway, New Ulm. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Conkling Gallery -- Works by faculty David Rogers and Matt Willemsen, through Sept. 14, at 139 Nelson Hall on Minnesota State University campus. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays-Fridays.

Emy Frentz Arts Guild Gallery -- Works by Bryan Holland through Sept. 5 at 523 S. Second St., Mankato. Hours: Noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

St. Peter Arts Center -- Painti.0ngs by Kevin Bierbaum and collaborative exhibit of student work, both through Sept. 9. Hours: 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays-Fridays, and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The 410 Project -- Exhibit of works created during Mankato Making Studio Series, 523 S. Front St. Hours: 2-6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday.

Waseca Art Center -- Works by Ann Judkins of Mankato through Sept. 8 at 410 State St. N. Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Ylvisaker Fine Arts Center -- Works by cartographer and quilter Shelley Cords-Swanson through Sept. 28 at 700 Luther Drive, Bethany Lutheran College. Lecture and reception 7 p.m. Sept. 6 at the gallery. Gallery hours are 1-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 1-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
