Minneapolis Children’s Hospital

MINNEAPOLIS — William Bukowski of Mankato has been selected to be an artist contributor in the Arts and Healing and Urban Renewal Project with Minneapolis Children’s Hospital. He is one of 35 artists selected and has been commissioned to paint six paintings for the second floor of the new addition to the hospital.

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans-St. Peter Area Chapter

ST. PETER — The St. Peter Area Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutheran Food Shelf Collection Project, held during the St. Peter Old Fashioned 4th of July Parade, collected 311 pounds of food and raised $412.54 in cash donations. In addition, the St. Peter Area Chapter of Thrivent will be providing supplemental funding of $500, with a total of $912.54 to be donated to the St. Peter and the Martin Luther College food shelves.
