College humor: Fast-rising comedian performing free show at MSU

MANKATO — Comedian Adam Grabowski will perform at Minnesota State University on Monday.

The event will be held at 8 p.m. in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom.

Sponsored by IMPACT, the student programming board, Grabowski’s performance is free to Minnesota State Mankato students and the Mankato community. The content is intended for mature audiences.

Grabowski’s clever and relevant brand of humor is designed specifically for a college audience, which is made apparent by his connectedness to campus culture.

A Chicago native, Grabowski graduated early from the University of Illinois with a degree in psychology. He used his productive procrastination skills to put off grad school by becoming a professional college comedian. Grabowski has performed at more than 150 colleges and was voted Fastest Rising Star and runner-up for Comic of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine. His tour has taken him to 32 different states including gigs at the Iowa Comedy Festival and L.A. Comedy Fest.

IMPACT is the student programming board of the Centennial Student Union. The board, advised by staff in the Student Activities Office, plans events funded through student activity fees.

Free campus parking is available in all Gold Lots after 6:30 p.m. Parking is also available for a small fee in the pay lot.
