MANKATO — A longtime Mankato country band is coming to an end this weekend after more than 15 years.
The Lightning Flats will perform two final shows 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday at Mully’s on Madison.
The band formed in 1994 with Larry Burger, Pam Soper and Frank Howard. About 20 musicians have come and gone from the group. The current lineup is Pam Soper, Frank Howard, Brad Metter, Tom Little and Crista Bohlmann.
The band is inviting all alumni of the Lightning Flats to join the band on stage Friday.
“The band would like to thank everyone who has supported them throughout the years,” said Bohlmann. “It has been a great run!”
