Closeup: Sun Moon Yoga open this morning for a good cause
MANKATO — Thanksgiving might not seem like a day to exercise. It’s more like a day to eat past your capacity and then sleep for 12 hours.
But Sun Moon Yoga is hoping you’ll head down to the studio on Front Street this morning before you start putting away all that turkey.
Sun Moon is holding its ninth-annual Thanksgiving Coat Drive Class. Say the organizers: “At the ninth-annual Coat Drive Yoga class you can express your thankfulness for the good things in your life by donating a clean jacket or coat in good condition for the Salvation Army Bundle Me Warm Drive.”
Sun Moon is also inviting those who attend to gather and practice yoga “in thankfulness, grace, friendship and community spirit.”
In addition to jackets, Sun Moon is collecting children’s snow pants, boots, gloves and hats.
For more information, contact Mona Ceniceros at 387-6600, or sunmoon@hickorytech.net.
