NEW ULM —
A vineyard on a warm Minnesota evening attracts many area residents for a peaceful evening and a favorite bottle of wine.
Hence the popularity of Morgan Creek Vineyards’ Winedown for the Weekend events, which are well underway for the season. Each Friday through Oct. 29, Morgan Creek invites the public for live music and relaxation to end the work week.
Jazz and classical piano is performed by Morgan Creek’s artist in residence, Ben Marti, who happens to be the son of the owners, Georg and Paula Marti.
Morgan Creek is located between Mankato and New Ulm off of Highway 68. Drive to County Road 47, turn left, drive two miles to Blue Earth County Road 101, and Morgan Creek is the first farm on left.
For more information, call Paula Marti at 507-947-3547, or e-mail martimcv@aol.com.
