MANKATO —
I’m responding to the Your View letter published Jan. 12. White male or female as a hero for black male or female — when I went to see the movie “Blind Side” I never thought about it that way.
I saw it as being about a caring person helping someone in need. When The Salvation Army helps people out, they don’t question what color they are.
There are people in Mankato who need help, but they hide from people because they are afraid of too many questions.
That was what this movie was about, helping a person in need -- no questions asked.
When you see something, do something to help.
