Monday about 5:45 p.m., my son was driving east on Highway 14, just past Third Avenue. Some company dump truck merged onto Highway 14 in front of him.
The truck was dropping its cargo of rocks, not just a couple but hundreds of rocks. The rocks hit his vehicle and windshield and caused almost $1,100 damage to the vehicle.
You companies have absolutely no regards to the traveling individuals. Your vehicle let its cargo fall off and damage vehicles.
My son could have ended up in the ditch and rolled his vehicle.
He could not get the license number or the company name because of the quantity of rocks flying at his vehicle.
I’m putting all of you on notice that if I see any cargo flying off any of your vehicles, no matter how small, I will call the Highway Patrol and give them your name and license number.
It is against the law to have your cargo flying into traffic, but again, you have no regard to the public driving with you on the roads.
