Your View: Our problems caused by greed, nothing else

Gary Lindsay’s letter to the editor, published in the July 26 Free Press shows how naive he is, not President Obama.

He said he built his business by himself, no one else. Come on, don’t you think your employees who do the face-to-face work had anything to do with building your business? Or don’t you have any employees?

I was a business manager for more than 20 years. The employees are who the customer sees. They helped make the business a success, not just me.

As for Obama putting the county in the “mess we are in” — please. The problems started under President George W. Bush.

The problems in our company are caused by good, old-fashioned greed. Nothing else.
