Coleman doing great job as our senator

Thanks to Sen. Norm Coleman for his leadership regarding the common sense legislation he introduced scrutinizing the DM&E; loan.

His ability to work with members of the Minnesota congressional delegation in a bi-partisan fashion is another great example of putting the needs of Minnesotans ahead of party politics.

The DM&E; coal project has been a serious issue that has been lingering over our community for the past eight years — without any realistic solutions ever in sight.

Congressional approval for federal loans over $1 billion allows citizens to voice their opinion through the appropriate process and legislators the opportunity to ask the loan applicants the tough questions.

Serious issues need serious people to represent hard-working Minnesotans in order to work together and find real solutions. Comedians need not apply for this job.

Keep up the great work, Senator Coleman.
