Brad Kuebler’s Your View letter unfairly blames Representative Walz for Congress’s lack of action on off-shore oil leasing. Kuebler completely ignores Walz’s work on H.R. 6709, which addresses this topic as part of a comprehensive energy strategy.
The editors of the Fairmont Sentinel explained it best: “The Republicans may have a point about Congress as a whole, but they are wrong about Walz. ... Walz wants to be part of a solution. Congressional leaders should follow his lead.”
