Are you sick of politics as usual and people running for office who promise and pander but haven’t delivered on anything? I am, and with Congress’ record low approval rating, a lot of other people must be, too.
I’ve decided to vote for Sen. Dick Day in the Sept. 9 primary.
Day has a track record of getting things done and of being a leader in our state. He helped solve Minnesota’s record budget deficit and he’ll do the same in Congress.
He’s plain spoken and tells it like it is. Day has the courage to buck the system and his own party’s bosses when it’s the right thing to do for our state.
If you think politics as usual has been good for our country, vote for who the party tells you to vote for. But if you want someone to shake things up in Washington, vote for a person who has a record of reforming our state and getting things done.
