I was happy to see the recent story on the Matthies family. It is great that they received the one-time payment of their mortgage from the organization, Spare Key.
It is also important for us to know that while Dalton was fighting the MRSA staph infection, his mother, Melissa, endured her continual struggle with multiple sclerosis.
This is a very brave family who has had to deal with more than their share.
I feel it’s important for everyone to know “the rest of the story.”

Recent opinion polls show that less than one-third of Americans have a favorable opinion of Mitt Romney, and almost half, 49 percent, have an unfavorable opinion — a number that skyrocketed 15 percentage points in one month, according to a January ABC News/Washington Post poll.
