As the years have passed since Colonial America and the signing of the Constitution, many things have changed.
One that never fails to amaze me is the laziness of the American people and our dependence on someone else. Does anyone remember individual responsibility or believe in what fellow Americans Thomas Jefferson and James Madison believed in?
Since when did it become the government’s problem to help watch over us? Everyone seems to complain that the government isn’t doing anything right or getting anything done.
Maybe the only thing the government needs to do is give more rights and freedom to us all.
Let every American pick which health care they want, no matter what state they are in.
Lower the taxes and let them save their own money for retirement.
Give no bailouts to businesses and let the small businesses pick up the pace. Americans, let your voices be heard.
Stop relying on the government to make sure everything is going to be okay or to give you what you “deserve.”
Step up for yourself and fight for your freedoms.

My View: Romney didn't build companies, he made money for investors
Recent opinion polls show that less than one-third of Americans have a favorable opinion of Mitt Romney, and almost half, 49 percent, have an unfavorable opinion — a number that skyrocketed 15 percentage points in one month, according to a January ABC News/Washington Post poll.
