Thank you, Rep. Tim Walz, for your vote Saturday supporting H.R.3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act.
I know there was tremendous pressure from the insurance industry lobbyists to defeat this, but you came through and stood up for your constituents, so good for you for having that courage.
If this bill becomes law it will be a big step towards providing secure and stable coverage for people with insurance, expand coverage for those without insurance, and it should help lower costs for families and businesses and help to reduce the deficit.
Agan, a big thanks to Congressman Walz for putting his constituents first.
