I hope each of you will go to forums that your political candidates hold and ask them great questions.
Questions such as, “if we are going into a $3 billion to $7 billion deficit in the next biennium, why are we having a a $2 billion bonding bill? With that big of a deficit, why are we spending billions that we don’t have on bonding?
According to the Center for Public Integrity, 46 other states have less state employees per citizen, paid year round, than Minnesota. No wonder our taxes are so high.
In the last three election cycles, candidates from both major parties, and the parties themselves, said they get it. They get it that we, the citizens, are angry about how they manage the state government. That we are tired and angry about their continued bickering and not getting the job done on time.
To that end, several new political parties have formed in Minnesota. The Open Progressive Party, which is joining other progressive parties across America, is forming a new national party. The Reform Party has reformed in Minnesota and joined the Reform Party USA in a national party.
Minnesotans, you now have a choice other than Democrat or Republican.
It’s time for a change.
