What has happened to personal responsibility in our local government? I am sure that any city employee that drives a city truck around town on city time and is pulled over for DWI would be fired by Mayor John Brady on the spot. It would not matter if they said they were sorry or not.
So, how about Brady having the courage to lead by example and fire himself? It’s easy, just like Donald Trump says on TV, “John Brady, you are fired.”
I guess nowadays all you need to do is say you are sorry and you get a free pass.
Brady showed poor judgment and bad decision making. He needs to be held accountable, just like everybody else.
It’s time to stop giving our elected officials a free pass every time they say they are sorry when caught doing something wrong.
