Often, what we hear about schools is very negative. The Minnesota New Country School in Henderson was rated at No. 9 among amazing schools by Ladies’ Home Journal. What an accomplishment when the competition is among schools throughout the entire United States.
Ladies’ Home Journal looked at schools that give students new opportunities to learn, despite some challenges that our educational systems face today.
The magazine, using a panel of experts, chose 10 public schools across the country — regular, charter and magnet — that exemplify what our educational system is doing right.
To be ranked No. 9 nationwide is a recognition of an outstanding educational facility. To be rated so highly is a recognition of a high quality educational program.
The school was founded in 1994 under the guidance of its founding agency EdVisions. It continues to be a model for many schools throughout the United States.
