NICOLLET — Two people were hospitalized after an ATV crash was reported at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday.
Ross Bode, 24, of rural Nicollet was driving the ATV in Granby Township when he hit a deer, a Nicollet County Sheriff's Department report said. He and his passenger, 22-year-old Cady Gappa of Nicollet, were thrown from the ATV.
Gappa was airlifted from the scene with head injuries. Bode was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The helicopter that crashed is owned by Scott's Helicopter Services in Le Sueur.
