MANKATO —
Police are looking for the public¹s help in finding an intruder who was shot at after being confronted in a house by the homeowner.
The owner of the house told police he was in fear for his life when he heard someone enter his house in the 100 block of Wickfield Drive at about 1:30 p.m. He said he shot at the intruder, who left the house and ran away, a news release from the Department of Public Safety said.
The suspect was described as a black male about six feet tall. He had a dark complexion, a thin build and was wearing a red short sleeved T-shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to call 911.
