Man arrested after shotgun incident

NORTH MANKATO — A 22-year-old North Mankato man who pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor harassment charge less than two weeks ago was arrested again Sunday for an incident involving a shotgun.

Jasen Jon Lynch was one of two men North Mankato police confronted after being called to a residence in the 400 block of Tyler Avenue. Lynch and a man named Corey Jonathan Raygor of Lake Crystal had been in a physical altercation that involved the shotgun. One round, which hit a parked car, was fired during the fight, a North Mankato Police Department report said.

Raygor, who is in a relationship with Lynch¹s ex-girlfriend, received injuries that weren¹t life threatening, the report said. Lynch was taken into custody for second-degree assault.

Lynch pleaded guilty to the harassment charge, stemming from a Jan. 2 incident, on Jan. 26. He had originally been charged with a felony for that incident, but that charge was dismissed in a plea agreement.
