MANKATO — Police are looking for the person or people who recently damaged the sculpture at Second and Main streets.
The top of a portion of wheat on the bronze and stone sculpture was broken. The sculpture of an elderly woman named “Tess” is valued at $26,000.
The reward, sponsored by the cities of Mankato and North Mankato, is being offered to anyone providing information leading to the arrest and conviction of the vandal(s).
