GMG announces business award winners

MANKATO — Greater Mankato Growth announced winners of the annual business awards and hall of fame.

The winners will be honored from 5:30-8 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Verizon Wireless Center.

The 2012 honorees are:

Greater Mankato business hall of fame: Lloyd Lumber – Just Ask Rental and Wells Federal Bank.

Distinguished business award: Brunton Architects and Red Sky Lounge.

Entrepreneurial business award: Bent River Outfitter.

Brian Fazio business education partnership award: Junior Achievement of Greater Mankato.

Hap Halligan leadership award: Marsha Danielson.

Young professional of the year: Christi Wilking.

Hospitality award: Mankato Brewery.

Bring it home award: Mahkato Wacipi Pow Wow.

 

CityDesign awards of excellence:

Renovation Under $1 million: Tandem Bagels.

New construction under $2 million: Brunton Architects office.

Façade improvements: City Center Place.

Downtown detail: 629 North Riverfront Drive.
