State Patrol: Fatalities up in June 2012

The Free Press

NORTH MANKATO — The monthly report from the Mankato office of the State Patrol shows there were 4 fatalities in three fatal crashes in the 10-county district in June, compared to 1 fatality in two fatal crashes in June 2011.

There were 15 personal injury crashes last June, compared to 12 this year.

And while the patrol issued 247 seat belt citations in June 2011, it issued just 149 this June.

DWI citations went from 14 last June to 19 this June.
