ST PETER —
The Nicollet County Fairgrounds in St. Peter went to the dogs in the most literal sense as the site for the Key City Kennel Club’s All Breed Dog Show that began on Friday.
More than 900 dogs representing 80 breeds were shown and judged on conformity and obedience at the annual event.
Dog owners come from all corners of the country as well as Canada to compete in the annual show that first was held in 1975.
Attendance to the event, which continues through this afternoon, is free.
There is a $3 charge per vehicle to park on the grounds.
