MANKATO — A mobile home was destroyed by fire Monday afternoon in the University Park mobile home community, near Minnesota State University.
The home was at 104 N. Hudson Ave. (Map)
No one was home when the fire started at about 5 p.m. The mobile home is a total loss with damage estimated at $20,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The helicopter that crashed is owned by Scott's Helicopter Services in Le Sueur.
