Montgomery man critically injured when motorcycle hit ditch

WATERVILLE — A 31-year-old Montgomery man was critically injured when the motorcycle he was driving left the road.

Thomas L. Kocina was driving his Yamaha on Highway 13 near Sunfish Lake, north of Waterville, at 1 a.m. Tuesday when it went into the ditch.

He suffered severe head trauma and was airlifted to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. He was not wearing a helmet.
