MINNEAPOLIS —
The National Weather Service in Minnesota is warning that heavy rains could cause flash flooding in parts of Minnesota and western Wisconsin, and flooding in some Minnesota rivers.
Forecasters were expecting heavy rain Sunday night into today. That comes on top of heavy rainfall in recent days in many parts of both states, leaving the ground saturated and rivers swelling.
Both flash flood watches and river flood warnings are in effect for much of Minnesota.
Mankato Clinic breaks ground on Children's Health Center
The Children's Health Center will house the pediatrics department and a Mankato location for Gillette's Children's Specialty Healthcare and Pediatric Therapy Services.
Skeletal remains are of homeless man, authorities say
Authorities say remains are of 38-year-old Maverick Henry Arrowood.
