Cambria man killed by skid loader

CAMBRIA — A 74-year-old Cambria man was run over and killed by a skid loader Saturday afternoon at his home, according to the Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office.

The man’s identity is being witheld until family is notified.

The man was operating the Bobcat skid loader on his property, was ejected from the machine and was then run over, Lt. Tony Adams said in a news release. Blue Earth County Sheriff responded just after 4 p.m.

Life-saving efforts were unsuccessful, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Adams.
