Storify: Rep. Tony Cornish at gun hearing at Capitol

MANKATO — Some journalists and social media users called it gun bling.

Rep. Tony Cornish, R, Good Thunder, drew a lot of attention from social media and elsewhere when he showed up at a legislative hearing on gun restriction legislation wearing an assault rifle lapel pin, his traditional handcuffs lapel pin and a flaming red tie emblazoned with the National Rifle Association logo.
