Flooding closes down area roads

Flooding on roadways is causing several road closures in Blue Earth County.

Motorists are asked to avoid these areas and report any other roadways covered by water by calling 911.

The following roads were closed as of 4 p.m. Sunday, though the list is subject to change.

County Road - Brown County Road 13 (Beussmann Bridge) from the K.C. Road to Nicollet County Road 21 by the Minnesota River

County Road - Brown County Road 10 approximately 1 1⁄2 mile East of Hwy 4 to 310th Street by the Minnesota River

County Road - Brown County Road 10 approximately 1⁄2 mile West of Hwy 4 by the Minnesota River

City Street – Cottonwood Street (AKA Poor Farm Road) by the Cottonwood River

County Road - Brown County Road 8 from 360th Street to the Minnesota River

Township Road – 290th Avenue between County Road 20 and 150th Street at the Little Cottonwood River

Township Road – 300th Avenue between County Road 20 and 150th Street at the Little Cottonwood River

Township Road – Grandview Road between County Road 24 and 180th Avenue at the Little Cottonwood River
