NORTH MANKATO — North Mankato police are looking for the public's help identifying a man who allegedly pointed a handgun at a student walking home from school.
The 11-year-old boy told police he was walking home from Garfield Elementary School when an older white man in an older green pickup pointed a handgun at him while driving past him. The boy said the man had gray curly hair and was wearing a red shirt.
The boy was near the intersection of Cross Street and Monroe Avenue when the incident occurred at about 2:32 p.m. Thursday.
