MONTGOMERY — A 19-year-old man was seriously injured Wednesday when the vehicle he was traveling in left the road and crashed into Clear Lake west of Montgomery.
Sean Mitchell of Montgomery was taken to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale to be treated for a broken nose, closed head injury and a concussion, a Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Department report said. He was a passenger in a car driven by 20-year-old Connor Polin of Montgomery, who was not injured in the crash.
Polin was traveling south on LeSueur County Road 32 when he drove through the County Road 26 intersection, also known as Lexington Road, and into the lake at about 11:58 p.m., the report said. Samantha Johnson, 15; Amanda Johnson, 14; and Jaden Stanley, 14; all of New Prague, received minor injuries in the crash.
