NEW RICHLAND —
A four-car collision on Highway 13 between Waseca and New Richland on Friday temporarily closed the road, but seriously injured no one.
The chain reaction began with a vehicle driven by 15-year-old Arin Boese, of Waseca, waiting to make a lefthand turn onto 260th Avenue from southbound Hwy. 13. Boese had two adult passengers.
Two cars behind Boese also stopped. But a fourth vehicle, driven by Alexander Enderson, 24, of Albert Lea, rear-ended the vehicle that was third in line. The resulting pileup prompted a response from several emergency and fire crews as well as closed portions of the highway. The road has been re-opened. All eight people involved suffered non-life threatening or no apparent injuries.
