ELYSIAN — A driver was killed in a collision between a Chevy Silverado and a semi truck Thursday morning on Elysian Lake Road in Waseca County.
The State Patrol isn’t releasing the name of the victim, pending notification of relatives and few details of the crash were available.
The 2003 Silverado was southbound on Elysian Lake Road when it collided with a 1990 Peterbilt at about 6:30 a.m.
Both vehicles were listed as total losses. The driver of the second vehicle suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to the patrol.
Sheriff’s deputies from Le Sueur and Waseca counties, the Janesville Fire Department and North Ambulance also responded to the crash.
