MANKATO — Luxury suites, indoor pool, on-site salon ... Sounds like a posh new hotel, right?
In some ways, it is. Clients can stay overnight for a few weeks or just the weekend. They can stop in just for the day for some companionship, a dip in the pool, a day of training or even day care.
It’s called The Paw, and if you’re paying close enough attention, you probably already know the clients at this resort spend most of their days on all fours.
The Paw is the newest kid on Mankato’s pet care block, and it brings to town the kind of high-end pet care service usually reserved for big cities — such as the full-size pool and executive boarding suites equipped with Web cams. The Paw also offers the more traditional boarding services and obedience school.
