Back in February, when Rep. Terry Morrow introduced a bill requiring that the commissioner or the deputy commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Transportation be an engineer, neither was.
Less than 24 hours after the House passed Morrow’s bill, both the commissioner and the newly appointed deputy commissioner were engineers.
