Tim and John completed their 330-mile journey this morning, landing near Harriet Island in St. Paul.
Tuesday, July 15, 5 p.m.
Tim and John made camp on a sandbar near the Interstate 35W bridge in Bloomington after a hot 9-hour paddle. The pair hope to finish their journey down the Minnesota River Wednesday morning at Harriet Island.
Monday, July 14, 5 p.m.
John and Tim stopped in Belle Plaine to transmit their stories and pictures for the day. They planned on paddling another 10 miles before finding a sand bar downstream to camp on for the night.
Sunday, July 13, 5 p.m.
John and Tim made it to Le Sueur around 5 p.m. Sunday and spent the evening with the River Dogs, a group of Le Sueur professionals who have also canoed the Minnesota River from the South Dakota border to the Mississippi.
Saturday, July 12, 9 a.m.
John and Tim landed just after 9 a.m. in Mankato's Sibley Park. After spending Saturday with family, the two plan to leave Mankato at 10 a.m. Sunday.
Friday, July 11, 4 p.m.
John and Tim had a shorter day today, getting off of the river around 1:30 p.m. after paddling into a strong headwind. They hope to make it to Mankato by mid-morning Saturday.

Cross and Krohn make a stop in Morton to transmit stories and photos for tomorrow's edition from the Las Palmas restaurant in town. They planned on paddling a few more miles to make up a little ground before sunset. Temperature at 8 p.m. in Morton was 79 degrees; Dewpoint: 79; Wind: calm; Barometer 29.95 in; Humidity: 45%; Low Wednesday 63 degrees, 20% chance of storms overnight, expected 90 degrees and a 20% chance of storms Thursday.

Cross and Krohn make 26 miles of hoped for 30 miles per day. They rest at Upper Sioux Agency State Park near Granite Falls. Temperature at 5:30 p.m. was 77 degrees; Dewpoint: 52; Wind: 14 mph. Barometer 29.92; Humidity: 42 %. Low Tuesday 57 degrees, expected 83 degrees on Wednesday.
Monday night, July 7
Cross and Krohn arrive at Montevideo, another 30 mile day on the Minnesota River.

Sunday night, July 6
Krohn and Cross were at Milan bridge at 7:23 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008. They traveled 30 miles from the small channels that begin the Minnesota River to Marsh Lake.
