• After-hours flu shots are available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — no appointment needed — on Oct. 8 and Oct. 9 at the following locations: Main Street, Wickersham, North Mankato Family Practice, Daniel’s Health Center, Lake Crystal Family Practice and Mapleton Family Practice.
• The Mankato Clinic Pediatric Department will offer after-hour vaccines from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the following days: Oct. 8-9, Oct. 13-14, Nov. 10-12 and Nov. 17-19.
• Vaccination appointments can be scheduled by calling (507) 625-1811.
• Patients also can request flu vaccinations during scheduled visits.

Front and Cherry intersection opening late Thursday afternoon
After two weeks of work to fix damage caused by a water main break, the intersection of Front and Cherry streets is opening late Thursday afternoon.
