MANKATO — Police are seeking a suspect in the armed robbery of the Fairfield Inn, 141 Apache Place, early Sunday.
Police say a man entered the lobby at 3:12 a.m. and displayed a handgun to the clerk. An undisclosed amount of money was taken and the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5-foot-9 with a thin build. His face was described as long and thin. He was wearing a black puffy coat.
Anyone with information is asked to call Mankato police at 387-8780.
