Two charged in homecoming brawl
MANKATO — Two men accused of assaulting a third man during Minnesota State University’s homecoming on Sept. 28 were charged with felonies this week.
Jason Pierce Houle, 23, and Steven Stanchfield Lee, 22, are accused of assaulting a man outside a residence in the 300 block of Warren Street around 2:30 a.m.
Joshua Arnold, of Bismarck, N.D., told police he was in Mankato for the homecoming celebration. He said he was punched twice after he stopped outside the residence to talk to Toni Douglas, a woman he knew.
Douglas told police she saw Lee punch Arnold. She also said Houle told her he had punched Arnold, too.
