NORTH MANKATO — Two men were injured in a head-on collision on Highway 14 west of North Mankato Wednesday morning.
Hai N. Hoang, 33, of North Mankato and 22-year-old Matthew Mathiowetz of Sleepy Eye were taken to Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital where they were in fair condition Wednesday afternoon.
Hoang was traveling west on Highway 14 in a 1994 Lexus when Mathiowetz, who was eastbound in a 2001 Ford truck, crossed the center line and collided with him head on, the State Patrol said. The crash occurred near the Nicollet County Road 6 intersection at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday.
