Sleepy Eye man included in arrests
A Sleepy Eye man was one of 16 people arrested Wednesday and Thursday in Renville, Brown and Redwood counties in what authorities are calling the biggest undercover operation in Redwood County history.
Derrick R. Jacobsen, 32, of Sleepy Eye is facing felony drug charges in connection with the bust. The arrests were made in the Redwood County area for sales of meth, cocaine, simulated controlled substances and marijuana.
A joint task force made the arrests following a year-long investigation.
