Traffic was backed up after a three-vehicle crash at about 3 p.m. Thursday on Riverfront Drive just south of its intersection with Highway 169. Shortly after 8 p.m., Public Safety Commander Jeremy Clifton said he didn’t have any information about the crash, including whether anyone was hurt. Someone was being treated in an ambulance shortly after the crash.

Former resort owner arrested again on meth charges
Mary Louise Pepper, 65, of Sleepy Eye was stopped on Highway 60 east of Madison Lake Thursday for driving 60 mph in a 55-mph zone. The Blue Earth County sheriff’s deputy who stopped Pepper reported seeing what he believed to be a meth pipe in her purse.
