Web site benefits Hausers
A new Web site has been set up to raise money for the family of a 13-year-old Sleepy Eye cancer patient whose parents at first resisted chemotherapy for him.
An attorney for the family of Daniel Hauser says the Web site, www.dannyhauser.com, also will allow Daniel to communicate with people.
Family attorney Calvin Johnson of Mankato says money raised by the Web site will go to the family. He says he has no idea how much the family’s legal or medical bills will be.
Daniel has an appointment Wednesday with a pediatric oncologist at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota in Minneapolis and receive a round of chemo Thursday.
Daniel and his mother spent nearly a week on the run before returning to Minnesota on Monday.
