Bicyclist killed on Highway 169
SOUTH BEND TOWNSHIP — A 50-year-old Prior Lake man was killed while trying to cross Highway 169 on a bicycle near Blue Earth County Road 33 Friday night.
The man, who wasn’t identified pending notification of relatives, was struck by a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Trudy Stensland, 23, of Lewisville. Stensland was westbound on Highway 169 and the Prior Lake man was attempting to cross from the south side of the highway to the north when the collision occurred just before 10:45 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
