MANKATO — Two people were injured in a crash at the intersection of Blue Earth County Road 82 and South Victory Drive Monday.
Chelsie Novak, 16, of Lonsdale was turning south on to Victory Drive from County Road 82 in a 2002 Nissan Maxima when she pulled in front of a 1998 Ford Taurus, a Mankato Police Department report said. The Taurus was driven by 43-year-old Scott Carl Thornblad of Mankato.
The crash was reported at 11:23 a.m. Novak and Thornblad were both taken to Immanuel St. Joseph’s Hospital by ambulance.
